So, you’re graduating? Congratulations! It’s a great moment – you are finally going out into the real world with skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.
But – and don’t think about this while you’re lining up on the Mall and listening to GW alumna Kerry Washington – you will be leaving some buildings, corridors and people which have given you some great memories and some of the best moments of your life.
However, even though you’re graduating and moving on, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the support network that GW provides is no longer available to you. The Center for Career Services can still provide you with a whole range of resources and opportunities to help give you an advantage in landing a job.
The GW Alumni network can also help you, not just when you are taking the first steps in your career, but also to help you throughout your professional life. Also, now that you’ve graduated, it wouldn’t hurt to join the GW Alumni LinkedIn group and keep on building that professional network of yours.
Oh, by the way, if those of you who are graduating this year could take a few minutes to fill in this questionnaire, then that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
